Lamda Electrical Services was founded by Pandelis Chartios. Having no touch with electrical whatsoever, Pandelis was trying to get an electrical apprenticeship for nearly 2 years, after he got back to his hometown in Melbourne. His "mature age" was the number one reason he kept getting rejected, because he would cost his employers too much. Everyone believed a junior apprentice with 3/4 of the pay rate would do the same job. Until he got a chance. One chance to prove he is worth it as an apprentice, despite his "expensive rates" as a "mature age". He got into solar because it was the only way to become a sparky. Not knowing what he was getting into, Pandelis agreed. Before he knew it, he developed a big passion for renewable energy and it became his number 1 focus. He did not worry about general electrical as much anymore. Within his first year as an apprentice, he saw the bad reputation the industry had. Generous rebates, poor regulation, lazy inspectors are only some of the reason that contributed to the solar industry developing such reputation. His goal became to start his own business. He wanted and still wants to do things the right way. That is to offer and to guarantee a reliable, transparent, highest quality solar installation. After struggling with all sorts of different scenarios and demands, Pandelis got fully qualified, gained some more experience in the renewable energy industry and then founded Lamda Electrical Services. He can now offer top quality systems, excellent workmanship and ongoing care and support to clients that want a good experience with their solar system.
